Appalachian Mudrock Symposium

The Appalachian Geological Society and the Eastern Section of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist are presenting a symposium on the Marcellus and Utica mudrocks of the Appalachian basin. On Monday (November 4) a series of eight thirty minute presentations will cover important aspects of one of the hottest basins in North America for unconventional resource exploration and production. A reception and icebreaker will occur on Sunday evening (November 3).

Honors and Awards Luncheon

Join us for at lunch on Monday (November 4) for an opportunity to visit with candidates for national AAPG offices, and honor AAPG Eastern Section luminaries. Awardees include best paper and poster awards from the 2012 Eastern Section Meeting, Honorary Membership, Distinguished Service, Outstanding Educator.
